If you’re a midlife mum whose brain suddenly feels louder, foggier, and more overwhelmed than it used to… you’re not imagining it

🌻 FRAZZLED to FREE! 🌻

A gentle guide to help ADHD + perimenopause brains understand what’s happening and feel steadier in real-life moments.

This is a 13-page guide you can open in the moment, when you’re avoiding, burnt out, overthinking, dopamine-dipped, or spiralling - and it gives you a doable next step!

Have you ever started the washing… forgotten the washing… then opened the machine two days later and thought, “Oh. So we’re doing damp regret now.”

Have you ever snapped at one of your favourite people then drowned in a sea of guilt replaying it over and over like a bad re-run of Judge Judy?

Have you gone to “just do the thing”… and somehow ended up researching how to whittle small canoes out of avocado stones, urgently rearranging the kitchen cupboards, or staring into space not knowing where to start — all while your brain hisses: “Why can’t you just be like other women!?”

If perimenopause has joined the chat and everything feels louder — noise, emotions, overwhelm, inner critic — you’re not imagining it.

(and no, you’re not failing.)

Your ADHD brain is navigating perimenopause...and your nervous system is doing its absolute best.

Frazzled, Not Failing is a short, practical guide that gives you quick resets and doable next steps for the exact moments you normally spiral — so you can get steadier without pushing harder.

What this workbook actually does (in real life)

Frazzled to Free helps you:

  • Finally understand why your brain spirals after mistakes - and feel the relief of knowing it was never about who you are

  • Catch yourself in the moment - and choose what happens next, before the self-attack takes hold

  • Break free from shame as a motivator - and discover that being kinder to yourself actually gets you further

  • Replace "I'm failing" with something true and useful - words that move you forward instead of pulling you under

  • End the day feeling like kinder to yourself - steadier, clearer, and no longer worn down by your own inner voice

Not by pretending things are fine.
But by making sense of what’s happening and responding differently.

This regulation guide is for you if:

• you snap, then mentally punish yourself for the rest of the day

• you forget something small and decide it means you're failing

• you rest but feel guilty because there's so much to do

• you regularly think "Why can everyone else manage this better than me?"

If you’re coping… but only by running a constant internal commentary about everything you're doing wrong - you’re in the right place.

Frazzled to Freedom is not about fixing your life, your parenting or your personality.

It’s about stopping the self crticism/shame spiral while already doing something difficult.

How it works (and what you get inside!)

It’s not another planner. It’s not a productivity system. And it definitely isn’t another “pull yourself together” checklist.

Instead, it’s a choose-your-own regulation guide you can dip into when life feels overwhelming.

Open the page that matches the moment you’re in.

Avoiding everything? Go there.

Burnt out and foggy? That page.

Overthinking at 10:43pm? Yep - there’s one for that too.

You don’t need to read it cover to cover. You don’t need to “keep up” with it. One page. One small shift. That counts.

You’re not lazy. You’re not broken.

You’re a woman with an ADHD nervous system, likely navigating perimenopause, trying to parent, function, remember things, regulate emotions, and exist in a world that was not designed with your brain or hormones in mind.

What’s inside (and what’s not)

Inside you'll find:

  • ✔ Nervous-system resets you can do in under 3 minutes — no prep, no perfect conditions

  • ✔ The 5% Rule — the only avoidance-breaker that works when your brain is fried

  • ✔ A burnout stabiliser for flat, foggy, "I-can't-even" days

  • ✔ A brain-dump structure to untangle scattered energy

  • ✔ Dopamine dip reframes that replace shame with self-understanding

  • ✔ Self-compassion scripts (for when the inner critic is loud)

  • ✔ Repair prompts for after you've snapped at someone you love

  • ✔ Gentle reflection pages to soften the harsh inner voice

What you won't find:

X productivity systems

X parenting techniques

X “just regulate yourself” advice

X anything that requires energy you don’t have

You can read one page, feel a bit lighter, and stop.

Why I Created This

Hi! I'm Diane,

ADHD coach, mum, and proud member of the “how did I end up reheating the same cup of tea three times?” club.

I support midlife women, especially mums who are discovering or rediscovering their ADHD at the exact same time their hormones begin shifting in perimenopause.

And if you’re in that season, you’ll know it can feel like everything suddenly gets harder. Things that once felt manageable now feel overwhelming.

An ADHD brain
• Hormones that affect mood, focus, sleep and resilience
• The invisible mental load of motherhood and midlife
• Years (often decades) of masking, pushing through, and holding everything together.
It’s a LOT!

And when no one has explained what’s actually happening, it’s very easy to turn the blame inward. To think: “Something must be wrong with me.”

This guide exists to gently interrupt that story.

The relief of realising you are not broken. The relief of understanding why things feel the way they do. The relief of having somewhere to turn on the days when everything feels like too much.

That’s what Frazzled, Not Failing is here. To offer a gentle place to pause. To breathe. And to remember that nothing has gone wrong -you’re simply navigating a demanding part of life in a World that wasn't designed for your wiring!

And you don’t have to do that alone.

Diane
